Love Never Dies

So, I don know if you guys know about this but… THERES A SEQUAL TO PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.  It’s called Love Never Dies. It’s obviously not as good as the original but it was still really good!  So, if you haven’t seen it, go watch it now!  The whole movie is free on youtube!

It’s a great ending to the first one.  I cried very hard at the end!

Warning: this next part is spoilers,so if you don’t want spoilers skip down to the next bolded/italicized part

I just can’t believe that they have a kid!!! Like, that kid was so musical and adorable! It was beautiful.

But, at the ends I cried for three different reasons.

1) while Christine was dying after getting shot, she told Gustave that The Phantom was his real father. The reason I cried was when Gustave screamed “Noooo!” And ran off, I was just thinking,” No Gustave! He needs you and you need him for love!!”

2) OBVIOUSLY when Christine died I started BAWLING. I was crying because she died and I was crying because the Phantom was crying and oh my goodness!

3) At the VERY end Gustave came back with Raoul. The reason I cried was because Gustave went over to the Phantom and took his mask off, and touched his face like he thought he was beautiful! My feelings!!!

You may read again now.

I just want to say how much I appreciate autocorrect for recognizing the names Raoul and Gustave because that just makes me happy.

I hope you guys liked my rant about love Never Dies! Talk you you again next week maybe!

Romeo and Juliet

Wow! I haven’t posted in forever!!! Schools tough you guys. Too much homework if you ask me.

Anyway so today in class I got to read the balcony scene!! The bad part is, I had to read it with the MOST ILLITERATE PERSON IN THE ENTIRE GRADE.  It was awful! Everyone said that I did great but he was bad 😁. It was still a great scene to do though. I’ll talk to you guys later this week hopefully! Bye!

Anyway so in school yesterday we started Romeo and Juliet! My teacher said that I get to do the balcony scene and the scene where Juliet finds out that Tybalt is dead and Romeo is banished! I’m so excited!

So in our school production of Oklahoma! im in the square dance!  It’s so much fun and my dance partner is really good(and really cute )! Lol. I love this play!

Romeo and Juliet

Beside from musicals, I also enjoy plays. Shakespearean plays specifically. I abolutely love Romeo and Juliet.

No one in my family likes acting, plays, or musicals. They have never read or seen Romeo and Juliet. So when I’m mad at any of them, I don’t yell or scream or anything like that. I bite my thumb at them.

And of course they have no idea what this means so it sends them into a state of confusion which is very amusing to watch. πŸ˜‹

Anyway, so this year in English class we will be reading Romeo and Juliet.  Specifically next week we will start. I’m so very excited, but my classmates aren’t.  I am the only actress in our grade which in turn means I will probably get to read the most! We are acting it out too. So this makes it even more exciting.

That’s it for today. Sorry it wasn’t very long but I’ll talk to you guys later πŸ˜‰.

The Phantom of the Opera

Hey guys!  If you read my Top Ten Musicals post you already know that The Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical! In fact, I’m listening to the soundtrack as I’m writing this. Haha!

Anyway The Phantom of the Opera is a very capturing musical. I think that it is a very beautiful story.  In case you don’t already know, I’m going to give you basically what it’s about(no spoilers dont worry πŸ˜‰).

The story takes place in Paris, France at The Opera Populaire opera house. The Phantom of the Opera is about a woman(Christine) who is a rising opera star. A man(the phantom) falls in love with her and her voice.  He takes her under his wing and tutors her for her singing.  The Phantom  starts to get possessive over Christine. He wants her to be the star of every show.  The managers of the Opera Populaire, however, are a bit rebellious against his instructions. The Phantom just wants the opera house to run as he likes, when things get out of hand.

My favorite song from The Phantom of the Opera is The Music of the Night. I feel that it just gives a loving feeling from The Phantom and it is very beautiful to me.

My favorite version is the one at The Royal Albert Hall. The Phantom in that one is amazing!  I’ve fallen in love with his voice!! Also the woman who plays Christine is so beautiful and has an amazingly beautiful voice!

A little bit of wondering comes in right about here πŸ˜‚. IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA DO NOT READ THIS NEXT PART IT HAS SOME SPOILING IN IT. YOU MAY KEEP READING WHEN IT IS NOT IN BOLD ANYMORE.

Has anyone else ever noticed that the chandelier being auctioned at the beginning is lot 666? And close to the end he says that he is the angel of darkness and death? And that Satan is the angel of darkness and death and the number of Satan is 666? Just wondering about that.

Also(not wondering anymore) the part at the end when The Phantom sings “I love you” to Christine breaks my heart!!! I cry every time!

Ok you may read again☺️. I hope you like my post about The Phantom of the Opera! Again I’m a newbie at this so if you have any suggestions for my account they would be greatly appreciated! If you liked it be sure to like it! Thanks and I hope you have a great day!

I haven’t been able to see Footloose live, but I’ve seen the movie and it’s great! Kevin Bacon’s good too 😝.

9. Annie

I was in Annie when I was in fifth grade. It was my first musical! It has pretty good music and it’s fun to dance to.

8. Godspell

I was in Godspell about a year ago around this time.  It’s very……. Interesting…

7. Beauty and the Beast

I was in Beauty and the Beast in sixth grade. It’s a fun musical to be in! Some humor, sad parts, intense parts, and touching parts!

The Sound of Music is a very wonderful musical! It’s fun to watch and lots of great music! I love the song “My Favorite Things”

5. Mamma Mia

Mamma Mia is so much fun! I love to sing along with the music and just thinking about it makes me want to get up and dance!

4. Oklahoma!

Oklahoma is such a fun musical! This is the musical I’m currently in and it’s so much fun! All of the music is so much fun to listen, sing, and dance to! I can tell you right now that square dancing is one of the most fun kinds of dancing ever! I love the plot and how it turns out is great! Such a fun musical!

3. Wicked

I saw Wicked live last year on my birthday and I can just tell you it’s an amazing musical! The characters are great and I love the creativity used by the writers! This would be such a fun musical to be in!

2 West Side Story

West Side Story is definitely my second favorite musical ever!!! It has a great plot line and the music is fantastic! The characters are amazing and I love how everything is played out! I definitely cried at the end!!!

1. The Phantom of the Opera

This musical is so good it deserves two photos!!!

I definitely absolutely love this musical/opera!!!!!! It’s my favorite of all time! It has great characters, a great plot line, and(best of all) great music!! The Phantom is so mysterious and then at the end you find out who he longs to be. You see his good, loving side and his bad, devilish side. I think that it’s wonderful how they portrayed him. Christine is just absolutely beautiful and an amazing character!! And the mask is just amazing and how when you just look at it its just like a mystery that you want to explore in your mind forever! I’m starting to think I’m more obsessed with The Phantom of the Opera than he is with Christine! Haha!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post!! Comment any suggestions of musicals I should blog about or even one of the musicals on here that I should write about more in depth. Have a great week!
